Eligibility Criteria for Canada’s New EMPP Streams

Eligibility criteria for the EMPP streams or rather the new EMPP streams. Hence, which is also known as the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot program. In order to be eligible for this program you need to be a refugee. Otherwise, a displaced person outside your home country. It is not exactly like a FSW Canada or federal skilled worker. Alternatively, a skilled worker visa or like any other Canada work visa. However, you can work provided you prove your eligibility to the Canadian Govt.

As the program or stream mentions clearly Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot. Thus, it is a program that keeps a person mobile for the economy of Canada. Hence, while giving the person the shelter that they are looking for. In the mobility pathways, it is your mobility to move around and work in Canada which is a guarantee. However, it is still one of the EMPP streams which means conditions apply.

WHAT IS A REFUGEE?

A refugee is a person looking for shelter from his own country. This is because of any life threats in the country. Apart from this, economic reasons, instability & enmity. Also, harassment, political reasons or any other reasons that the Canadian Govt. might consider. Thus, as eligible enough to take refugee in Canada. Obviously, the considerations are in support of the UN refugee agency. Apart from this, other similar orgs.

PROVE YOUR ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA BY PROVIDING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:

To prove your eligibility criteria you need to give solid proof. In addition to this, the documentation should proof. Ironically, that you are eligible to stay in Canada. That is, on the new EMPP streams.

  • A positive refugee status determination (RSD) from the UN refugee agency or a refugee-hosting state. A UN refugee agency is a United Nations refugee agency. Apart from this, is one of the most eligible bodies. Thus, to provide the refugee status for an individual.
  • A refugee certificate from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine in the Near East (UNRWA).
  • Recorded as a person of concern or proof of being registered. Otherwise, someone having concern which can be defined as anything. Thus, which falls under the category of a concern by the UN Refugee Agency.
  • Proof of being registered, which is the same. Alternatively, recorded as a person of concern with UNRWA.
  • Having a temp protected status. That is, in form of documentation as a proof.

THE EMPP WITH NJOS- ‘What Is It?

EMPP or Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot program with NJOS or No Job Offer Stream is simply an opportunity. That is, for the highly skilled refugees. Also, the displaced individuals for the sake of obtaining permanent residence in Canada. Remember the word, ‘highly skilled refugee’. Obviously, as being just a refugee is not enough. The core is the same of the program as it is based on the Federal Skilled Worker Program.

However, it is the EMPP stream. Refugee program, as it is linked up with. Apart from this, with NJOS as an applicant you won’t need a job offer. The program clearly mentions that as such it doesn’t require applicants to have a job offer from a Canadian employer. Neither it falls in the category of a skilled worker visa. FSW Canada, as however being linked-up with. Hence, as the core of the program is based on Federal Skilled Worker program one can easily count similarities. However, conditions apply regards to the EMPP with NJOS.

REQUIREMENTS & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA- ‘A KEY RELATIONS REGARDS TO THE FUNDS:

The funds required to have an EMPP with NJOS is something that is heavily dependent on the family members. Funds that are required, obviously, as a rise in family members shall increase. For a single family member, the funds required are $14,690 CAD. Also, for 2 family members that can be partners. Alternatively, any relations irrespective it is $18,288 CAD. Apart from this, for 3 members, it is $22,483 CAD. Also, for 4 members it is $27,297 CAD and for 5 members it is $30,690 CAD. Required for an EMPP with NJOS are $34,917, i.e. for 6 family members, as funds are. On top of this, for 7 members it is $38,875.

Remember for an increase in family members from 7 members in all. Thus, for each additional family member it is $3958. Obviously, which is approx. $4K increase in funds requirements. This means ironically $42,833 CAD for 8 members and for 9 members, it is $46,791 CAD. Apart from the requirements of the funds, it is the eligibility that should meet for an EMPP with NJOS.

A PROGRAM THAT HOLDS SIMILARITIES WITH FSW CANADA:

According to an IOM or the International Organisations for Immigration as Canada is a country. Obviously, which is amongst the highest countries. The ones, who are taking annual in-takes for immigration. Their targets are for the year 2024- 2026, 5K immigrants which means for the 3 years period starting 2024.
